Service Partners

Grand River Regional Cancer Centre

Grand River Regional Cancer Centre opened in Kitchener in September 2003 to care for cancer patients in Waterloo Wellington Local Health Integration Network (LHIN), which has a population of over 787,000. The cancer centre is located in Grand River Hospital’s Balsillie Family Building. This 4-storey, 98,000-square foot facility is a full-service cancer centre and the largest provider of systemic treatment and cancer surgery in the region.

The Grand River Regional Cancer Centre is as celebrated for its aesthetic design as it is for the quality of its services. In September 2005, it was featured in HealthCare Design magazine, having won a citation of merit together with Vermeulen/Hind Architects.
