Request a New or Modified Protocol - Radiation Treatment
Radiation treatment facilities can request new or modified disease-specific protocols for consideration. The Radiation Treatment Program partners with other groups as appropriate to assess these requests.
The request process differs depending on whether or not the request relates to a clinical trial. Be sure to follow the right process for your request.
To view existing protocols, visit Protocols – Radiation Treatment.
General Requests
Follow these steps to make a request. Be sure to complete Step 1 first to avoid submitting a redundant request.
Step 1: Verify the protocol has not already been approved for funding
- Go to the Protocols – Radiation Treatment page for the full list of approved protocols, or search for the protocol by entering its name in the search bar.
- On the Protocols or search results page, use the refine filters or keyword filter to find the relevant protocol. If it is listed, it already is approved.
Step 2: Complete and submit the request form
To suggest a protocol to be considered:
- Download the New or Modified Radiation Treatment Protocol Intake Form.
- Follow the instructions in the form.
