Population Health Program

The Population Health program focuses on risk factors for chronic diseases. Their work approaches cancer risk from a quantitative perspective. The program analyzes data and conducts research to identify at-risk populations, and makes predictions for populations based on their characteristics and behaviours.

This work helps to support the Prevention Program’s development of targeted prevention initiatives, and to predict and plan for future cancer control and care needs across Ontario.
