Patient Population

Adult patients with resectable pancreatic adenocarcinoma for whom a pancreatectomy is planned.

Research Question(s)

Should patients with resectable adenocarcinoma of the exocrine pancreas receive preoperative or postoperative chemotherapy and/or radiation?

Outcomes of interest were overall survival, quality of life, and adverse effects.
