Patient Population

Adult patients with resectable, operable, and potentially curable thoracic (lower two thirds of esophagus) esophageal cancer for whom surgery is considered appropriate.

Should patients with resectable esophageal cancer receive preoperative or postoperative therapy along with surgery?
