Cancer Care Ontario Beyond-Use Date Recommendations Report

Guideline Objective

To address the drug waste issue related to Beyond-Use-Dates (BUD) implementation as per the NAPRA Model Standards, a BUD Mitigation Strategy Working Group was created. The primary objective of the Working Group was to develop a Recommendations Report which complies with the NAPRA Model Standards for BUD and provides potential strategies to minimize wastage due to single-dose vials.
