Indigenous Relationship and Cultural Awareness Courses

These Mainpro+ courses are certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Ontario Chapter.

Complete up to 13 courses designed to strengthen cultural competency and understanding of First Nation, Inuit and Métis history and knowledge to improve health outcomes and patient-centred care.

Smoking Cessation and Cancer Online Learning Modules

Two courses are available on smoking cessation and cancer. The first module is targeted to healthcare providers in oncology settings. Healthcare providers can complete this module to get information on how to deliver smoking cessation interventions, the benefits of quitting smoking for cancer patients and treatment, overcoming barriers, and resources for further learning.

The second module is for patients. People with cancer can complete this module to learn about why quitting smoking is important, and how to get support.
